Cheryl Peiffer
President
LPEMS President Cheryl Peiffer has always been an advocate for Emergency Services in the community. She was a resident of Lower Providence Township for 65 years and is now a resident of Worcester Township since 2022. She received her RN from Montgomery Hospital a BS in Health Care Administration, and an MBA from Philadelphia University. President Peiffer also possesses a School Nurse Certification from Eastern University. She is proud of the growth of Lower Providence EMS and the work of the organization through the years. She is additionally proud of the accomplishments and the service to the community by the board and operations staff.
Being a Registered Nurse for 53 years and working in Critical Care as a Nursing Supervisor for 18 years at Montgomery Hospital in addition to her 30 years as a Certified School Nurse for Methacton School District, President Peiffer can understand the work of the staff as they support and treat the medical emergencies of the community, and provides multiple viewpoints and brings calmness, leadership skills, and compassion to the organization.
President Peiffer has served on local, County, State and the National Board for school nursing, as well as serving in other areas in the community through the Youth Aid Panel Program, St. Andrew’s Nursery School, St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church and now in the Meadowood Community.
President Peiffer stated that “It is an honor and privilege to serve Lower Providence Ambulance and this wonderful community.”
