Volunteering
LPEMS is looking for individuals that want to make a difference in their community. Volunteers can participate in many different aspects of Emergency Medicine.
Volunteer's are offered many benefits such as uniforms and access to training.
This is a great opportunity to give back to your community and make a difference in someones life.
This is also an excellent GRADUATION project for high school students.

Volunteers will be provided a training packet and meet with the LPEMS Training Coordinator prior to their first scheduled shift.
All Rules, Regulations, and hour restrictions will be discussed.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and will be required to obtain at least an EMR certification within 2 years of membership with the goal of at least becoming an EMT.
Volunteers will operate as a member of the crew; volunteers will interact with providers, learn skills, and assist with daily chores.
