Attention Worcester Residents:
At the January 3, 2022 reorganization meeting of the Worcester Township Board of Supervisors, the board adopted a new EMS coverage area map and procedure which provides the closest EMS unit based on the EMS units station location. These new coverage areas will be reviewed annually at the Board of Supervisors reorganization meeting to ensure the public is being properly served.
These changes were implemented to ensure the residents of Worcester Township are receiving the quickest possible care, with respect to response times. We have been advised by Township Staff that the EMS units that have been providing service to Worcester Township over the years have done a quality job, and that this change has nothing to do with the care that was provided to you, only to ensure that you receive quality care in a prompt and timely fashion.
These new changes have officially been implemented and were placed into effect on Monday February 7, 2022.
Lower Providence EMS is the primary ambulance for the orange shaded area ( 6422015).

Lower Providence EMS would like to thank the Township Staff for their openness and transparency during the process, and we look forward to continuing to serve the residents of Worcester Township and the surrounding communities with compassion and respect for years to come.
With this new information we now know the areas that we will be serving as a primary EMS unit. We will be mailing out Subscription mailers to you in the next 2-weeks.
Thank you for all of your past and future support!
